Process & Standards

Quality
Assurance

Quality assurance is an integral part of our manufacturing process — embedded at every stage to ensure consistency, reliability, and performance. From incoming material inspection to final dispatch, every product is monitored, tested, and verified against international standards.

Incoming Inspection

Every material checked against supplier certificates and internal acceptance criteria.

In-Process Control

Critical parameters monitored at each stage by trained operators with calibrated instruments.

Final Inspection

Every unit visually inspected under controlled conditions per the relevant EN standard.

Continuous Improvement

Quality data reviewed regularly to identify trends, eliminate root causes, and refine processes.

QA Framework

Not a final check.
A continuous discipline.

Our QA framework runs from the moment raw materials arrive to the moment the finished product leaves our gate. Each process is documented, monitored, and reviewed against measurable criteria — with non-conformities flagged, investigated, and corrected before any product reaches a client.

01

Incoming Material
Inspection

All raw glass, interlayers, sealants, and accessories are checked against supplier certificates and our internal acceptance criteria before being released to production.

02

In-Process
Control

Tempering temperatures, autoclave pressure cycles, IGU seal integrity, and edge quality — all monitored at each stage by trained operators using calibrated instruments.

03

Final
Inspection

Every unit visually inspected under controlled conditions — correct viewing distance, natural light, both faces — in line with the relevant European standard before packaging.

04

Continuous
Improvement

Quality data reviewed regularly to identify trends, eliminate root causes, and refine processes — closing the loop on every issue we encounter.

QA at Every Stage

From receipt
to dispatch.

The controls applied at each stage of our production process — mapped to the relevant international standards.

Stage 01 Raw Material Receipt

Visual inspection, supplier certificate verification, and defect screening before any material is released to production.

EN 572 EN 1096
Stage 02 Cutting

Dimensional verification, edge integrity check — no chipping or micro-cracks permitted before downstream processing.

EN 572
Stage 03 Edging & Drilling

Edge quality inspected to ensure no micro-cracks before tempering, and that holes meet edge-distance requirements.

EN 12488 EN 12150
Stage 04 Washing

Surface cleanliness check — ensures no contaminants that could affect lamination adhesion or coating integrity.

Stage 05 Tempering

Furnace parameters monitored continuously. Fragmentation pattern testing and heat-soak testing where required.

EN 12150 EN 14179 EN 1863
Stage 06 Lamination

Interlayer bonding quality, bubble-free clarity, and optical inspection — every laminated unit verified before release.

EN 14449 ISO 12543
Stage 07 Double Glazing Assembly

Spacer alignment, seal integrity, and gas retention testing on every insulating glass unit produced.

EN 1279
Stage 08 Final QA

Full visual inspection under controlled lighting and viewing distance per the applicable EN standard for the product type.

Stage 09 Packaging & Dispatch

Protective packaging, full batch traceability, and dispatch documentation accompany every order without exception.

International Standards

Built to the
world's benchmarks.

Glass Premium operates in line with internationally recognized standards governing every stage of glass processing — defining the technical requirements and acceptance criteria we apply to every product.

Flat Glass Quality Control
EN 572 EN 1096 ASTM C1036

Incoming Inspection

Raw glass quality, allowable defects (bubbles, scratches, inclusions), and coating appearance for float and coated glass before any processing begins.

Heat Treatment
EN 12150 EN 1863 EN 14179

Tempering

Production of safety glass through thermal treatment — covering strength increase, fragmentation pattern, heat-soak testing, and safety performance criteria.

Grinding & Polishing
EN 12488 EN 12150

Edging

Edge quality free from micro-cracks before tempering — defining acceptable edge defects, finishing requirements, and pre-process safety parameters.

Cutting & Drilling
EN 12150 EN 572

Cutting & Drilling

Pre-heat-treatment requirements ensuring holes and shapes are made safely with proper edge distances and no crack formation before tempering.

PVB / EVA / SGP
EN 14449 ISO 12543 ASTM C1172

Lamination

Safety laminated glass requirements: interlayer bonding quality, optical clarity, long-term durability, and post-breakage safety behavior.

Insulating Glass Units
EN 1279 ASTM E2190

Double Glazing

Performance of insulating glass units: gas retention, seal durability, moisture resistance, and long-term thermal efficiency in all climates.

Our Commitment

Quality is not
negotiable.

At Glass Premium, quality assurance is not a department — it is a discipline embedded in every person, every machine, and every process on our production floor. We do not ship a product we are not confident in.

Through structured controls, rigorous testing, and continuous oversight, we maintain strict adherence to technical and industrial standards — meeting both local and international expectations on every order.
